چکیده

Abstract Corrosion behaviour of stainless steel 347 was investigated in a molten nitrate salt (60 wt% NaNO 3 + 40 KNO ) immersion at 565 °C for up to 3000 h. A growth stratified oxide layers consisting NaFeO 2 , Fe O and 4 observed on the surface with constant gravimetric corrosion rate ~ 0.4 µm/year. The feasibility using Ni Al coatings deposited by means air plasma spray suppression investigated. were undergo fast oxidation 2.7 µm/year first 500 h, subsequently stabilise between h no observable changes microstructure, composition weight 0.02 results presented this study strongly suggest that coating suppresses formation substrates can be used as protection against presence salts, which is relevance thermal energy storage applications.

Sintering of Fine Particles in Suspension Plasma Sprayed Coatings

Suspension plasma spraying is a process that enables the production of finely grained nanometric or submicrometric coatings. The suspensions are formulated with the use of fine powder particles in water or alcohol with some additives. Subsequently, the suspension is injected into plasma jet and the liquid additives evaporate. The remaining fine solids are molten and subsequently agglomerate or ...
